About the Role
Full-Time Nanny / Family Assistant
Long-Term Position |Live-Out
Closter, NJ
Start Date: ASAP (flexible for the right candidate)
Schedule:
Monday–Friday 11am – 7pm
One late evening per week (typically Thursdays, until ~10/11 pm)
Children: 3 children (ages 8, 6, and 4)
A warm, organized family is seeking a highly responsible, proactive Nanny / Family Assistant to support their home and three children. This is a collaborative role alongside a hands-on mom, best suited for someone who is confident, attentive, and able to take initiative while maintaining strong communication.
Key Responsibilities:
Midday (children in school):
Children’s laundry and wardrobe organization
Dishwasher management and kitchen upkeep
Tidying and organizing common areas
Making beds and maintaining overall household order
Light household support (no deep cleaning)
Afternoon / Evening:
School pickups and transportation to activities (mileage reimbursed)
Managing schedules and transitions between activities
Assisting with homework
Engaging children in age-appropriate activities
Supporting evening routines
Ideal Candidate:
Highly responsible with strong safety awareness and sound judgment
Experience managing multiple children and busy schedules
Organized, proactive, and able to take initiative
Confident working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
Strong communication skills
Energetic and hands-on, while maintaining structure and boundaries
Comfortable with light household support
Open to occasional travel
Comfortable around dogs
Swimming ability preferred
Enjoys cooking or preparing simple meals is a plus, but not required
Compensation & Benefits:
$38–$42 per hour, depending on experience
Paid holidays and time off
Mileage reimbursement
